Coffee Filters, Did you know.............

The first time I worked with coffee filters was last summer. I was making fabulous little cuppie snuggies for Lexi's birthday party. Now I am a complete coffee filter junkie. These things are great! You can do anything with them!
Todays filter creation... Fabulous Flowers.

You can make your flowers whatever size you like. Just fold your filters in quarters and trim to your desired size.

Ink the edges of your filters. You can use ink pads or markers. Try using more than one color!
Next use water or glimmer mist and spray your inked filters. You will be able to see the color spread. Let filters dry. I like to just lay them on the heater vent or use a blow dryer.
Once they have dried stack the filters and then fold in half and then in half again.
With one had hold the pointed end tight then with your other hand begin to 'fluff' your fab flower to perfection. At this point I like to hit it again with a little more glimmer mist. Take a piece of ribbon or twine to secure the back of the flower and thats it! Now you have a super cool flower done just the way you like.
I absolutely love to use these on gifts. Ribbons and bows, dough style.
